MAYURI KANTHA BLANKET (Twin Size)

A 2-layer lightweight cotton blanket with a block printed design and a contrasting fabric on the reverse side. This item features hand-sewn, big running stitches called 'Kantha Stitches', which are characteristic of the traditional quilting technique in India. These stitches give this type of blanket a very raw but soft, and perfectly-imperfect quality.

These kanthas are ideal as bed covers, throws, blankets, picnic mats and even as tablecloths. Versatile with an old world charm.
